Audit Map![]() This auditing tool will generate an audit map of an existing worksheet and allow the user to trace formula and cell dependency in order to ensure accuracy and robustness. If you work with Excel and produce or maintain spreadsheets, you would likely have experienced that spreadsheet can quickly become large and complex. And more than occasionally, simple errors would likely have crept in from the obvious to the harder to find ones. Auditing spreasheets by checking the formulas one by one is not particularly effective nor productive as there may be thousands of formulas with the vast majority being a copy of an existing formula. There will likely also be formatting errors. Other than adopting best practices in terms of spreadsheet modelling, all you need is a simple utility to provide a visual map of the formulas used and the unique formulas therein for verification. Excel 2007
Excel 2003 and earlier versions
